What challenging times these are for the unrepentant political junkie. We try to handle our jobs… do regular, earn our money. But the Presidential conversation is everywhere shy of the sports broadcast booth.
Fast-moving stuff, too. Earlier this month I took in the 2017 documentary series Trump: An American Dream, and shaped a pile of words around it. The doc’s a deeply insightful UK perspective on the 45th US President. Yet, when I let the word pile sit for a day? The take felt dated. This election won’t stand still, and to linger on Donald Trump’s past transgressions seemed a luxury we don’t have.
That writing won’t see the light of publication.

Also, I owe y’all a Body High. Apologies. Life’s been hectic. It’s not just November 5 and physical exertion that’s got me behind. A chunk of the past week has been spent going public with my Main Thang:
The actual screenwriting is farther along than the crowdsourcing campaign, which is just getting started.
I’m unusual in that industry connections are not my biggest issue. The challenge is to get what’s in my head on paper, by May.
The time is right for The Legend. But I have no more time, for now.
