WCS 15 The New York Edition
More workplace protections for workers who use weed, from Protest City to Gotham
The New York Edition comes from writing out this sojourn out of Northeast LA.
Stay with me.
Prior to hiking it up to Oregon in 2009, I was a full-blown Westsider, residing on Broadway in Venice. Before that we were in The Palms neighborhood. My then-partner and I used to joke about the people around us who were more likely to hit LaGuardia than spend time in East LA. Also, discourse on Gaza violence is more open than at any point in my lifetime. Both of these developments owe something to the worldwide boycott of Palestinian beatdown facilitators.
